What to Expect on the Day of Breast Implant Removal Surgery

Dr. Craft may also remove the capsule (layer of scar tissue that forms around the implant) during this procedure. This can be done as an “en bloc” removal, where the implant and the capsule are removed together without cutting into the capsule and removing them separately.
